Five little piggies and one lemonade stand

一、主题意义

    绘本讲述了五只小猪一起合作搭建柠檬水摊,卖柠檬水的故事。在搭建柠檬水摊的过程中,五只小猪分工完成任务:有的买柠檬,有的准备桌子,有的拿出桌布,有的制作横幅,还有的准备杯子。在合作的过程中,让学生感受合作的乐趣,体会到实践成功的成就感。来买柠檬水的人也很有代表性。有去看望外婆的小红帽,有从熊家中跑出来的金发女孩,还有正在和乌龟进行比赛的兔子,整个出售柠檬水的过程非常顺利。最后,来了一只大灰狼,小猪们害怕的落荒而逃,也是暗示着在生活中会遇到困难和阻力。如何突破困难和阻力?正是学生们需要去思考的问题。

一、教学目标:

(1)知识目标:

a.            在情境中能理解词汇market, lemon, lemonade, drag...from...,pull ou...from...,make a banner, put up...,tablecloth

b.在情境中能理解文本内容,初步感知一般过去时,能在核心词组的帮助下复述课文;

c.在情境中开展买卖柠檬水的对话,复习提供服务、表达需求、适当评价和表示感谢的词句,让文本表达更完整和生活化。

(2)能力目标:

a.在情景中,能结合学过的语句进行买卖的对话表达;

  b.在板书或核心词组的帮助下,能复述故事内容,分享阅读感悟;

(3)情感目标:

a.            体验合作、参与、实践的过程,感受合作的快乐;

b.体验买卖过程的成功与阻力,尝试思考遇到困难的解决方法;

c.知道更多关于卖柠檬水的故事,了解事件背后的生活意义。

三、教学重、难点:

a.在情境中能理解文本内容,初步感知一般过去时,能在核心词组的帮助下复述课文;

b.在情境中开展买卖柠檬水的对话,复习提供服务、表达需求、适当评价和表示感谢的词句,让文本表达更完整和生活化。

  c.在板书或核心词组的帮助下,能复述故事内容,分享阅读感悟;

四、学情分析

    这篇故事的主要句型都是一般过去时,五年级的学生还没有接触,所以在教学时弱化语法教学,重在感悟理解故事人物的行为动作等。学生对买卖之间提供服务、表达需求、适当评价和表示感谢的词句比较熟悉,在设计对话时没有太大的难度。故事源于生活,五只小猪的卖柠檬水也是源于孩子的生活实践,这个生活的缩影他们不一定知道,在课上老师可以补充故事背景。

五、教学过程

Step 1: Warm up

1. Enjoy a songFive little piggies

T: Before class, Let’s enjoy a song . It’s aboutFive little piggies.

2. Greeting

T: Class begins.

Ss: Stand up.

T: Good afternoon, class.

Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Yu.

T: There are five little piggies in the song. What are they doing?

S:They’re jumping in the mud.

T:Yes,they have a lot of fun.

 

Step2: Presentation

1. While reading

(1)Talk about the cover paper

T: Look, there are five little piggies,too. They also have a lot of fun.

Can you guess where are they?

S1: They are in the park.\ in the street\in front of their house.

T: Yes. They’re in front of their house. And what do they do together?

(2)Read the whole book

T: Please read the story as fast as you can . Just find out the answer.

Ss:(Read the book )

T: Who can tell us the answer?

S2: They put up a lemonade stand.tell us the page where the answer is )

T: Wonderful. Five little piggies put up a lemonade stand .

That’s the story we’ll learn today.

2.Post reading

(3) Read and act

T:Read the story from P2-P7, underline the key words and guess the meanings,then please read them one by one.

Tip:Use the things around you. Try to make.

T: Everything is ready! Listen! Who is coming? (Goldilocks) What happened with her?

S:There are three bears in front of her. She is afraid. She shouted:”Help! Help!”

T: She hurried out of a house. (hurry--hurried)

(4) Guess and say

T:Goldilocks hurried out of a house. She ran ,ran, ran...

How was she?

T: Wow! A lemonade stand! The lemonade is...
