Step 1 Warm up
1.Greeting
2.sing a song :《Ten Little Indians》
播放两遍,第一遍学生跟唱,第二遍学生大声唱出来。
T: How many Indians can you see?
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1.Pr-reading
听歌曲Ten Little Indians,回答问题。
依次出示十个印第安人,学生用英语数数,通过闪现游戏复习数字1-10,并教授单词thirteen, fifteen. ★注意-teen的发音。
2.While-Reading
(1)Look at the first picture of the story, and say something.
T: Some children are talking about numbers. Look, who are at Mike and Helen’s house?
S: Yang Ling and Liu Tao.
(2)Watch the video and answer the question
T: Mike and Helen are showing their toys. What do they have? Please watch the video and try to answer the question.

(3)Read the story carefully and answer the question.

Let’s read the story carefully, and find the numbers.
T: Now who’s Mike? How many toy cars do you have?
S1: I have thirteen./I have thirteen toy cars.

S2: I have fifteen./I have fifteen stickers.
Practice: 同桌间说一说对话。
A: How many...s do you have,...?
Mike: I have thirteen toy cars.
Helen: I have fifteen stickers.
(3)Read the story again and find the sentence
T: Now please read the story again and find the sentences“Can ...?”
Try to say out the Chinese meaning.
S1: Can I have a look? 我能看一看吗?Yes. 好的。
S2: Can I have one? 我可以要一张吗?Sure.当然可以。
★Can: 可以;能;会
Can I...? 表示征求对方的同意,其回答:Yes./Sure./OK.
3.Post-Reading
(1)Listen and repeat
注意模仿人物的语音和语调。一般疑问句用升调↑,特殊疑问句用降调↓。
(2)Read the story in different ways
小组分角色读,跟读,齐读等。
(3)Act the story
四人一组,注意模仿人物的语音和语调,并配上动作哦。
Step 3 Consolidation
T: Let’s enjoy a new story《How many legs?》
教师带领学生一起看图片,读故事,并让学生根据图片回答问题。
