No repeating. Time: 30 seconds.
Step 3 While-reading
1. Show the pictures of unit 6, look and guess
T:Here come Liu Tao and his parents, where are they?
SS: In the kitchen
T: Bingo! They are in the kitchen.(show the title, students read together.)
What are they doing?
Ss: They are cooking.
2. Watch and answer
T: Let’s listen to the tape and answer these two questions.
3. Read and match
Scanning. Ss scan the Paragraph 1 and 2 and find out what food and drinks are mentioned.
4. Think and say

6. Listen and answer
T: Does Liu Tao like the food? Let’s watch the cartoon and answer the question.
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Please read the paragraph 3 and try to find the sentences about it.
