一、教学内容  

4A  Unit 4  I can play basketball (Story time)  

二、教学目标  

1. 知识目标        

(1)能够理解Story time内容,能够模仿朗读。  

(2)能掌握单词basketball, football, jump, skate, swim  

(3)能听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型:I can ... Can you...? Yes, I can. No, I can’t. Can he/she/...? Yes, he/she can. No, he/she can’t.  

(4)能理解play basketball very well, have a try.  

(5)能够运用Nice! Cool! Great! 等赞美词赞美别人。  

2. 技能目标  

能询问别人或表达自己会做什么运动。  

3. 情感目标  

培养孩子的运动意识。培养勇于尝试的精神。  

三、教学重点  

1.能够理解Story time内容,能够模仿朗读。  

2.能听懂、会说、会读、会运用句型:I can ... Can you ...? Yes, I can. No, I can’t. Can he/she/...? Yes, he/she can. No, he/she can’t.  

3.能理解play basketball very well, have a try.

一般疑问句和陈述句的区别。

六、教学过程  

Step 1 Warming up   

1 Enjoy a song  

What can you learn from the song?  

学习运动类的单词:skate, swim, jump, basketball, football  

2. Play a game  

I say you say  

Rules: Teacher says a sentence, if you can do it, please stand up and read the sentence loudly.   

I can skate.会滑冰的同学站起来并大声读出I can skate.  

Step 2 Presentation   

1.      操练句型  

T: I can play table tennis. What about you? Can you play table tennis? 引导用Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.  

师生对话  

(紧接着上一个同学)Can he play table tennis?引导用Yes, he can. /No, he can’t.  

呈现句型:Can you…Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.  

Can he…Yes, he can. /No, he can’t.  

2.      Look and ask  

Look at the picture and try to ask  

T: Our friends are coming, who are they?  

(课件呈现三个人物和一个篮球,人物顺序为:王兵,麦克和刘涛)  

S: They are Wang Bing, Mike and Liu Tao.  

T: And what do they have?  

S: They have a basketball.  

T: So what do you want to know?  

  Can you use “can” to ask any questions?   

引导学生提问,训练学生主动探究的能力  

S1 Can Wang Bing play basketball?  

S2:  Can Mike play basketball?  

S3 Can Liu Tao play basketball?  

(电脑按顺序呈现这三个问题)  

(学生也可能会出现其他的问题)如:Can you play basketball, Wang Bing?  

3.      Watch and answer  

T: You all have good questions. Let’s watch the cartoon and find the answers.  

Check the answers.  

Q1: TCan Wang Bing play basketball?  

S: Yeshe can.  

(电脑呈现第一幅图)  

T: How do they talk? Let’s read.   

Read pic 1 in pairs.  

   

Q2: T: Can Mike play basketball?  

S: Yes, he can.

T: LookWhat does Wang Bing say?  

Ss Read: He can play basketball very well.  

T: Very well. That means someone can run faster, jump higher, shoot the basket more quickly.   

 Teach: very well  

T: We know this is Yao Ming, he can play basketball very well in China.  

(出奥运冠军配图,练习说一说)  

Ma Long can play table tennis very well.  

Sun Yang can swim very well. 练习说一说  

T: Let’s read pic 2 together.  

Read in pairs.  

   

Q3TCan Liu Tao play basketball?  

(自读课本)  

S:...Yes./No.  

T: Someone says “Yes.” Someone says “No.” Let’s read carefully.  

 (电脑呈现3-4两幅图, 34的表情变化)  

 Look at Liu Tao, how does he feel?  

引导学生谈刘涛的感受: 3 happy, excited 4 sad, depressed 沮丧  

提问:Why does he have the change? (可用中文表示)  

(电脑呈现图3备注 At first 首先)  

(处理图3T: Look at picture 3. Can Liu Tao play basketball at first?  

S: No, he can’t.  

Read this sentence sadly.  

(处理图四)T: Look at picture 4. Can Liu Tao play basketball at last?  

S: Yes, he can.   

T: What makes Liu Tao change? Can you find an important sentence?  

什么使得刘涛变化? 引导学生先说一说。  

再重点呈现课文内容并教学 Have a try, Liu Tao.  

Have a try.在整个课堂中学生回答问题时,可先渗透理解。)  

情感升华: Dare to try, to have a breakthrough.  勇于尝试,才有突破。  

   

Step 3 Consolidation   

1 Listen and repeat.  

2. Read together  

3. Read pic1&2 in roles.  

4. Act pic3&4 out in two  

S1 acts Liu Tao. Others act Mike and Wang Bing (引导学生带有感情的对话图34  

   

Step 4: Homework  

1. Listen and read the story, try to recite it.  

2. Preview Fun time and Cartoon time.
