本单元是系统学习一般过去时的章节,使学生能够运用一般过去时和一般现在时进行描述,巩固语法结构,深化语言的综合应用能力。虽然经过前面三个单元的学习,学生对动词过去时已经有了一定的理解与掌握,但碰到一般现在时等多种时态交结在一起时,学生较难以完全掌握,在教学中可将情景教学法、直观教学法及任务教学法等多种教学法灵活地融入教学。 | ||||||||||||||||

1.听录音跟读课文,初步感知课文人物过去和现在的学习、工作、生活等方面变化。 2.动词一般过去式: read write use listen make buy can do see eat take bring 3.根据课文内容填空(书本P38): (1)Mike: Then he could . Now he can do many things. (2)Mr Brown: Then he wrote to his friends, used the at home and in the office. Now he writes emails and has a mobile phone. (3)Grandpa: Then he listened to the radio and read newspapers. Step 1. Preparation 1.Say something about your English teacher. 2.Show a photo of the teacher when he/she was a child . T: What could I do twenty years ago? Show some photos of the teacher’s children. Step 2. Presentation & Practice 1. T: I could do a lot of things, but now you see I have changed a lot. Today we will see more changes about some other people. 2. Check Ss’ preparation. Q:Who are they? What is this passage about? What’s the title of the passage? 3. Listen and fill.
4. Watch and judge. 5. Read and write.(Fill in the blanks at P38) 6. Check and learn. T: Let’s try to talk about them one by one. (1)S1: Then Mike couldn’t write. S2: Now Mike can do many things.
