(一)   教学目标  

知识目标:  

1. 能在适当情景下使用本单元重点单词和句型进行交际。  

2. 进一步巩固圣诞节活动类词汇,复述课文。  

3. 能熟练运用词组:sing Christmas song, on Christmas Day, look sad, eat us;  

句型:What’s wrong with him?及其回答。  

4. 能够理解Cartoon time故事内容,并能生动表演。  

能力目标:  

1. 能在真实的情景中正确运用叙述做某事先后顺序的句型:  

First…Next…Then…Finally…  

2. 能在运用过程中自主归纳、总结语法规则。  

3. 能读懂cartoon time的幽默之处,并能表演出来。  

情感目标:  

使学生了解更多有关西方节日的信息,培养学生中西方文化交际的能力。  

()本节培养的能力点能用正确的句型描述事情的先后顺序。  

(三)本节的教学安排及教法、学法建议  

1.教学内容:复习story time,学习Grammar time, Cartoon time  

2.教学重难点:1.在运用过程中自主归纳、总结语法规则。  

            2.把表示事情先后顺序的First…Next…Then…Finally…  

熟练运用,并能拓展到其他的描述中去。  

3.拟采用的教学方法:教师引导,自主探究。  

4. 教学设计建议:  

Step 1 Warming up  

1. Enjoy the flash: the pictures of Christmas all over the world.  

2. Free talks.  

  (1)What do people do at Christmas?    

  (2)Do you like Christmas? Why?  

Step 2 Review Story time  

1.   Let’s guess (出示文字和图片)  

T: OK, now let's guess the things about Christmas.  

    It is green .People put pretty things on it. ( S: Christmas tree)  

    People put it on the beds on Christmas Eve. (S: Christmas stocking)  

    People put them under the Christmas tree. S: Present  

    He is a fat man, he gives presents to the children. (S: Father Christmas)  

2.Let’s review (出示文字和图片)  

T: You know so many things about Christmas. Do you remember Mike’s diary about his Christmas?  

S: Yes.  

T: OK, let’s review. They have a lot of fun at Christmas.  

    T: Look at P1 & P2 :   

S: Before Christmas, Mike and his family buy presents and a Christmas tree. They sometimes go to see Father Christmas. They put some pretty things on the Christmas tree. They also put our presents under the tree. It looks…(2-3人回答)  

    T: Look at this picture.  

S: On Christmas Eve, they put a stocking on beds and wait for presents. (2-3人回答)  

    T: The last picture. It is Christmas Day.  

S: It is Christmas Day! They wake up early and open the presents. They have a big lunch. They always have a turkey and Christmas pudding. They have a good time. (2-3人回答)  

T: Now read sentences and talk out the activities about Mike’s family. Work in groups.  

   S: First, they buy presents and see Father Christmas.  

     Next, they put pretty things on Christmas trees.  

     Then, children put a stocking on the beds.  

     Finally, they open presents and have a big lunch.  

T: A hard one for you. Look at the pictures and talk out the activities about Mike’s family.   

   S:……  

T: What do you do at Christmas?(出示语法板块内容)  

   引导学生回答。  

   Before Christmas,…  

   On Christmas Eve…  

   On Christmas Day….  

   T: So.First, we go shopping and see Father Christmas.  

   Next, we put some pretty things on the Christmas tree.  

   Then, Christmas Eve comes, we wait for presents.  

   Finally, it is Christmas Day. We have a big lunch with our family.  

   T: I hope we all have a good time.   

Step 3 Grammar time & Cartoon time  

1.Let’s learn (grammar time)   

T: It we want to talk about something, We can use “first, then, next, finally” 他们是表示时间或事情发展顺序的副词。Let's read again. “first, then, next, finally”  

2.Let’s practice (grammar time)  

Play a game  

  T: Let’s play a game. First, choose and act; Next, read and say; Then, do the puzzle.   

(拿出拼图让各小组组合,尝试读出来,理解事情的发展顺序)(音乐,时间)  

T: Look at puzzle 1 Who can show them to us. Try to read them.   

S: …  

T: Yes. You’re so good. Follow me, let’s chant it. (尝试chant的节奏)  

    Puzzle1: Birthday  

First, sing a song; next, make a wish; then, cut the cake; finally, eat the cake.  

    Puuzle2: Mike  

First, get up ; next, go to school, then, have lessons; finally, go to bed.  

    Puzzle3: Goldilocks and three bears  

First, go into the house; next, drink the soup; then, see the bears; finally, run away.  

Tell a story (cartoon time)  

T: You did a good job. Now let’s tell a story.   

  First, enjoy a story; Next, summarize it; Then, tell it in order.

T: Look , It’s Christmas. What are Sam and Bobby doing? Please imagine What do they do at Christmas?   

S: They …..(学生想象回答)  

   T: They play games with their friends. Is everyone happy? Why?   

     Please watch the cartoon . Pay attention to key words in the cartoon.   

T: Ok. Show your key words. (畅所欲言,学生尽可能多的说出所注意的词,句)  

  引导说出 Mr turkey   

T: Mr turkey is sad. Why?  

  He dislike people eat turkeys at Christmas.  

  How about Sam and Bobby?  

S: They are happy.   

T: Why?  

S: At Christmas , they………  

T: Yes. Now please follow and read . (跟录音读P1P2 P3 P4  

    Next, summarize it and imagine  

T: Now read in your groups , and try to summarize by yourself.

    Then, retell and show  

T: Now, Let’s work in groups and show out this story.  

S: 学生准备表演 2-3组。

  We can use them to tell a story , we also can use them to make a plan . and so on…

1.      review cartoon time , and go on acting.

教学思考:  

本课是在第一课时story time 后的自由组合教学板块,我教授的是grammar time & cartoon time   

第一课时描述的是圣诞节时,根据时间发展顺序而介绍的一系列活动。第二课时就是在这个课文的基础上,对本单元的语法知识点first, next, then, finally进行进而深入的理解和使用。  

本课还是采用小组合作的方式,一起拼图,来达到共同努力的结果。  

对于课堂表现上,我觉得在设计提问上没有精炼,在问题与反馈上效果不理想。应该考虑到我们孩子的接受水平和输出水平,更踏实的适合孩子的步伐,才能一步一个脚印,真正掌握所学。
