第二课时教学设计  

一、        教学内容:Grammar time  

二、教学目标:  

1.语言能力  

(1)巩固并掌握故事中出现的词汇:eleventh, eighth, together, birthday, April, game  

(2)巩固并掌握四会句型:When’s your birthday? It’s on…  

 What do you do on your birthday? I usually …  

(3)能理解并掌握常用序数词的用法及规则。  

2.学习能力  

(1) 学生能在情境中自如运用常用序数词的用法及规则。  

(2) 学生能在情境中运用所学语言描述自己的生日。  

3.思维品质  

(1) 通过情景学习,调查问卷等用所学句型描述自己或他人的生日  

(2) Fun time中,通过调查研究,让学生学会询问他人的生日,复习句型。  

4.文化意识  

通过调查,了解来自中国各地的同学、朋友过生日的习惯。  

三、教学重点:  

1.能掌握四会已学词汇birthday, April, game, March, July, August, December.                       

2.理解并掌握常用序数词的用法及规则。  

3.通过交流与学习,用所学语言描述自己的生日。

六、教学过程:  

Step 1: Warm up  

1. Enjoy a song—Months of the year song  

2. Free talk  

T: Boys and girls, what do you know about me?

S3: Your birthday is in May.  

T: Great! My birthday is on the third of May. I usually have a big dinner with my family. I get a lot of presents from them. When’s your birthday?

T: Have you got any presents on your birthday?

T: Do you often open your presents as soon as you receive them?

Step 2: Revision  

1. Listen and judge  

T: Miss Li, Su Hai, Mike are talking about their birthdays. Look at the pictures, and listen to the tape again. After listening, let’s do a judge.  

(1) Su Hai’s birthday is on the 11th of May.  

(2) They usually have a big lunch with family.  

(3) The twins eat rice on birthday.  

(4) Mike’s birthday is in April.  

(5) Mike eats a cake and play football with his friends.  

(6) They all have a good time.
