一、单元整体情况分析
本单元的主要教学内容是描述人物的外貌。建议教师根据学生的年龄特点，借助动物玩具和文具等用品，设计一些游戏和活动，让学生在实际情景中使用本单元的句型He’s/She’s … His/Her … is/are …
Story time是学生们在展示自己的洋娃娃，他们分为男女两组，Liu Tao介绍一个男娃娃，Su Hai介绍一个女娃娃，从而引出Her/His hair is long/short. His/Her eyes are big/small. Her nose and mouth are small.等句子。Fun time是一个听、画、说结合的语言游戏，一个学生根据其他学生的描述来画雪人，画好后在向大家介绍所画的雪人。Cartoon time是Bobby和Sam在科技展览馆看机器人的故事，本部分再现了本单元描述人物外貌的语言知识，也浮现了第四单元的句型I can…。Sound time部分旨在让学生了解字母z在单词中的读音。Rhyme time的歌谣呈现了两个胖男孩在雨天见面的情景。Checkout time针对本单元的重点学习内容，安排了阅读填空的检测题。Ticking time是本单元自评框的要求。

Step 1 Pre-reading

(教师做好示范，让学生根据歌词做动作)
T：We have learned a beautiful song about our bodies. How many features can you name?
(根据拼读规则教读nose, mouth, 重点强调eyes和 ears一般以复数形式出现)

3. Let’s play
游戏规则：教师发出指令，学生做相应的动作。教师说“Touch your eyes”, 学生做相应的动作，并说“eyes, eyes, eyes!”
（设计意图：通过游戏的方式，让学生根据老师的指令，触摸自己身体的部位，记忆单词：nose, mouth, eyes and ears）
